The treatment begins with either a custom peel or mask, chosen based on your skin’s specific requirements. Our range of peels and masks are designed to exfoliate, rejuvenate, and nourish your skin, laying a perfect foundation for the subsequent treatments.
We incorporate Sonophoresis Infusion, utilising ultrasonic waves to enhance the absorption of vital nutrients and serums deep into your skin. This technique results in improved hydration, firmness, and overall skin vitality, leaving you with a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

The Academy Signature Treatment combines 3 different treatment modalities selected to suit your core concerns and skin needs. We combine either a peel or mask, sonophoresis infusion and Healite LED therapy. We have developed our signature treatment to offer our clients the ‘best of’ our range of skin services

Actively works to resurface and improve skins moisture levels while restoring clarity and luminosity
Improves hyperpigmentation, restores luminosity and radiance to a dull complexion and refines texture for a smooth skin.
Low frequency ultrasound to infuse active ingredients into the skin, this is 1000 times more effective than other application methods.
Low-level light therapy (LLLT) with Healite II is the therapeutic use of light emitting diode (LED) light to enhance your body’s natural cellular recovery, improving healing times, relieving pain, subsiding active acne, promoting skin rejuvenation and more. The pain free and non-invasive treatment delivers concentrated energy deep into your tissue affecting you body at a cellular level.
Treatments can be performed as often as 2 weekly intervals and 6 treatments are recommended for noticeable improvements. Once you have achieved your desired results maintenance treatments are recommended at 2-3 monthly intervals combined with a daily AHA skin care regime to retain the benefits. The ongoing skin care program uses advanced skin care products that contain a therapeutic level of AHA’s at an active pH and other active ingredients.
You will be prescribed a homecare regimen suited to your skin type
Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen 30-50+
Cease use of any Retinol products 48 hours prior to the treatment
You will probably experience a tingling, itchy sensation for a few minutes when the peel is applied and the stronger solutions sting a little. A slight heat sensation is due to the active ingredients as they penetrate into the skin. You’ll notice a wand being used over the skin this is the sonophoresis product infusion, it makes a funny sounds and feels warm, Finally you’ll relaxed under the LED while your skin absorbs the healing lights and stimulates cells to rejuvenate.
For the next 5-7 days following treatment:
- Do not exfoliate of pick at peeling skin
- Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s, Vitamin A (Retinol), astringents or exfoliating granules
- Do not expose the skin to sun
- MUST apply a sunscreen daily
- Apply moisturiser as required (skin is best to remain moist during this time)
- Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, chlorinated and salt water pools, steam baths and hot showers for 48 hours following your treatment
- Avoid waxing, IPL, Laser or depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment
- Avoid applying tanning products for 2 weeks following your treatment

Your first step is an initial consultation with Dr Oates. During the consultation process, patients have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the procedure, potential risks, post operative recovery and possible outcomes.
In accordance with AHPRA guidelines, we require all surgical patients, both medical and cosmetic, to obtain a GP referral before their consultation.
