WHAT IS Ultraformer III HIFU Contouring?
ULTRAFORMER III HIFU is a non-surgical, non-invasive Ultrasound Energy device designed to reduce adipose tissue and promote contouring and skin rejuvenation to areas of the neck and body.
The device delivers low amounts of ultrasound energy at precise depths of the tissue creating heat which stimulates the healing response and tissue remodelling in the body.
In the case of Ultraformer III Body Contouring Fat Reduction, Macro-Focused ultrasound energy is delivered deep into the adipose tissue damaging the fat cell membranes. These damaged fat cells are then transported via the lymph using it’s natural filtration system to the liver. This process is made possible through the body’s natural metabolism as the liver makes no distinction between fat disposed of by the Ultraformer III and fat originating from food.
The ultrasound also stimulates the body to produce new fibroblasts, the “houses” that create collagen thus increasing the amount of collagen in the tissue. This wound healing response creates a smoother appearance to the skin, firming mild laxity and textural irregularities of the skin.

The Ultraformer III HIFU Contouring typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes based on the targeted areas, The treatment is tailored to target specific areas of concern, such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, or buttocks
During the procedure, the hand piece is passed over the area, focus lines of ultrasound are delivered. A stinging sensation along with heat will be felt. Low amounts of Micro-Focused Ultrasound (highly focus heat energy) are delivered into precise skin depths without damaging the skin.
The procedure is non-invasive, meaning there are no incisions or downtime required. Patients can typically resume their daily activities immediately after the treatment. For optimal results, multiple sessions are recommended.

- Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 30-50+

Sub Mental:
- Most patients will experience a mild numbness, tingling, warming sensation that lasts 2 to 5 hours
- Patient may see some immediate contraction of skin
- Moderate redness with some swelling, immediately after and lasting up to 12 – 36 hours
- Skin may feel tender to the touch and will resolve in 1 week
Body:

For the next 2-4 days following treatment:
- Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s, Vitamin A (Retinol), astringents or exfoliating granules
- Cool compress or ice as needed
- Apply moisturiser as required (skin is best to remain moist during this time)
- Do not expose the skin to sun
- MUST apply a sunscreen daily
- Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, chlorinated and salt water pools, steam baths and hot showers for 48 hours following your treatment
- Avoid Waxing, IPL, Laser, Depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment
We review the skin at 4 weeks after the recommended course has finished. This time frame allows us to see the new collagen deposition and to assess the success of the treatment. Before and after photo’s are then compared and results discussed. It is at this stage a skin care and treatment maintenance program will be discussed with you.
