The Healite II is a TGA-approved low-level light therapy (LLLT) device, renowned for its sophistication and extensive clinical validation. As the most advanced LED in the clinical market, Healite II has unparalleled clinical evidence, establishing its efficacy and safety. Utilising Light Emitting Diode (LED) light therapy, Healite II harnesses your body’s inherent cellular recovery mechanisms, accelerating healing, alleviating pain, reducing acne, and rejuvenating the skin. The soothing LED lights penetrate deeply into the skin, maximising cellular functions, promoting dermal blood flow, and inducing healing.
Academy Face and Body offer three distinct treatment heads for the Healite II, ensuring personalised care tailored to your specific needs. The device emits light at precise wavelengths (830nm and 633nm) to activate cellular activity through photobiomodulation. This scientific process reduces inflammation, bruising, pain, and swelling, while simultaneously stimulating collagen synthesis and optimising cellular functions.
Healite II provides a pain-free and non-invasive treatment experience, suitable for virtually everyone, including those with sensitive skin conditions like rosacea. It is also safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with no associated downtime. This makes Healite II an ideal choice for clients seeking effective and gentle skin therapy.
At our Perth clinic, Academy Face and Body brings extensive expertise in facial aesthetic treatments, providing surgical, non-surgical, laser and dermal options tailored to diverse skin types and concerns. Commitment to skincare is crucial for maintaining skin health and addressing specific issues. LED Healite II treatment is a non-invasive, pain-free phototherapy technique that uses low-level light therapy (LLLT) to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and enhance skin rejuvenation.
This advanced therapeutic device has light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to deliver precise wavelengths of light, which penetrate the skin to target specific cellular processes.
Healite II emits light in the near-infrared spectrum, specifically at 830 nanometers, a wavelength known for its deep tissue penetration and therapeutic benefits. When this light interacts with cells, it stimulates mitochondrial activity, leading to increased production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This energy boost enhances cellular function and accelerates the body’s natural healing processes.
Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in improving various skin conditions and promoting faster recovery, making it a versatile tool in aesthetic and medical practices.
The benefits of LED Healite II treatment reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improving overall skin texture and tone. It speeds up recovery from surgical wounds, cuts, and abrasions, and alleviates pain and inflammation in conditions like arthritis and muscle soreness. Additionally, it reduces acne severity by targeting inflammation and promoting healing, and enhances the recovery process after non-surgical and surgical procedures such as laser treatments, microneedling, and chemical peels.
During a Healite II session, patients typically experience a warm, soothing sensation as the light is applied to the treatment area. Sessions usually last between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the condition being treated. The procedure is comfortable, requires no downtime, and patients can return to their daily activities immediately.
LED Healite II is suitable for all skin types and ages, offering a safe and effective treatment option with minimal risk of side effects.
Wound Healing
Healite II accelerates the healing process of wounds, including surgical incisions, by stimulating cellular repair and regeneration.
Skin Rejuvenation
The treatment promotes collagen production, which can improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Acne Treatment
Healite II can effectively reduce acne by targeting the bacteria that cause breakouts and reducing inflammation.
Post-Procedure Recovery
It can speed up recovery and reduce downtime following surgical and non-surgical procedures such as laser treatments, microneedling, and chemical peels.
Non-Invasive and Safe
Healite II is a non-invasive treatment with minimal to no side effects, making it suitable for all skin types.
Improved Blood Circulation
The treatment enhances blood flow, contributes to healthier skin and faster healing of various conditions.
Anti-Inflammatory Effects
It helps reduce inflammation, which is beneficial for conditions such as rosacea and psoriasis.
LED Healite II treatment, a form of low-level light therapy (LLLT), offers several benefits for various skin conditions and overall skin health. It’s particularly effective for:
**Results may vary from person to person
The LED Healite II treatment is a non-invasive light therapy procedure that promotes healing, reduces inflammation, and rejuvenates the skin using low-level light therapy (LLLT).
Following your consultation, protective goggles are provided to shield your eyes from the bright light emitted by the Healite II device. The device is then positioned over the treatment area, delivering specific wavelengths of light (such as 830 nm for near-infrared light or 415 nm for blue light) to the skin. The treatment is painless, feeling warm and soothing. Near-infrared light promotes healing, reduces pain and inflammation, and improves blood circulation, while blue light targets acne-causing bacteria, reduces acne lesions, and helps improve skin clarity.
Each session typically lasts between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the area being treated and the specific skin concern.
After the treatment, no downtime is required. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results. The number of sessions will depend on the skin condition being treated and the desired outcome.
Light Emitting Diode (LED) Light Therapy uses Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) with HEALITE to enhance your body’s natural cellular recovery. With LED light therapy, healing times can be improved, pain may be relieved, and acne reduction and skin rejuvenation is promoted.
The LED lights used are soothing and penetrate deeply into the skin cells which can maximise their natural functions, induce healing, photo-stimulate the dermal blood flow, decrease pain and reduce acne, among other things.
Academy Face and Body have three treatment heads available to use, ensuring that there is one right for the treatment you seek.
Note: Other Dermal Therapy Treatments results can be enhanced by adding LED light therapy.

Treatment goals will be discussed by your therapist or physician to determine how many treatments you will require.
Many of our patients are treated twice weekly during a certain time period depending on their needs. Once the desired results are achieved, treatments to maintain are recommended along with a skin care routine using Ultraceuticals.
The LED light therapy procedure only takes 10-20 minutes. Before the procedure the skin is cleansed then HEALITE II is undertaken with a combination of treatment serums chosen according to your primary concerns.
When the light is applied, a light warming sensation will be experienced which most patients find relaxing.
Steps to follow for 3-5 days after your LED light therapy treatment:
It is important to avoid the use of exfoliating products for the next 3-5 days. To avoid sun sensitivities it is important to apply a broad-spectrum sunblock daily. We recommend the following regime:
