Alyce is a highly experienced Theatre Nurse and Cosmetic Medicine professional at Academy Face and Body with over 10 years of expertise.
Alyce began her career as a surgical assistant in Dermatology, assisting with procedures such as Mohs and reconstructive surgeries, which greatly shaped her cosmetic interest.
Additionally, Alyce holds an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science, making her an invaluable asset with extensive education and diverse experience in operational and therapeutic aspects of cosmetic medicine. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, her dream of working in a theatre environment, like the Academy Day Hospital, has come true. Alyce’s passion for cosmetic medicine was kindled early when she was a patient of Dr. Fiona Wood.
Alyce is dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and upholding our clinic’s commitment to excellence in cosmetic care. She enjoys all aspects of the peri-operative environment, especially as a scrub nurse, participating in transformative procedures.

Your first step is an initial consultation with Dr Oates. During the consultation process, patients have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the procedure, potential risks, post operative recovery and possible outcomes.
In accordance with AHPRA guidelines, we require all surgical patients, both medical and cosmetic, to obtain a GP referral before their consultation.
