The MEDLITE C6 Laser is designed to target and treat unwanted pigmentation in the skin. It uses a precise wavelength of light to specifically target melanin, the pigment responsible for dark spots and discolouration. This targeted approach ensures effective treatment while minimising damage to surrounding tissues, making it a safe and reliable option for improving skin tone and texture.
Laser Spot Pigment Treatment can be used on various skin types and areas of the body, including the face, hands, chest, and more.
The procedure itself is relatively quick and comfortable. During the session, the laser is applied to the targeted areas, where it works to break down excess melanin. Over time, the body naturally eliminates these fragmented pigment particles, leading to a more even and uniform complexion.
Many patients experience smoother, brighter skin with reduced pigmentation and a more youthful appearance.
While Laser Spot Pigment Treatment is effective, multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, depending on the severity of the pigmentation and individual skin response. Proper skincare and sun protection are essential post-treatment to maintain and prolong the results.
Targeted Pigmentation Correction
Corrects stubborn pigmentation issues such as sunspots, freckles, and melasma. The MEDLITE C6 laser precisely targets melanin, the pigment responsible for dark spots, breaking it down to reveal clearer skin.
Gentle and Non-Invasive
Unlike harsh chemical peels or abrasive treatments, the MEDLITE C6 Laser Pigmentation Peel is gentle on your skin. The laser energy is delivered in short pulses, minimising discomfort and downtime while maximising results.
Collagen Stimulation
Beyond correcting pigmentation, the MEDLITE C6 laser also stimulates collagen production.
Safe for All Skin Types
One of the most significant advantages of the MEDLITE C6 laser is its suitability for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Long-Lasting Results
Get long-lasting results with regular treatments. The MEDLITE C6 Laser Pigmentation Peel not only corrects existing pigmentation but also helps prevent new spots from forming, giving you lasting skin clarity.

The laser emits light energy that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the skin. This energy breaks down the pigment particles, which are then naturally eliminated by the body’s immune system over time.
Treatment can be used on various skin types and tones, making it suitable for a wide range of people.
You can expect to see gradual improvement in skin tone and texture following each treatment session. The number of sessions required may vary depending on the pigmentation.
Afterward, it’s important to keep the treated area away from sunlight and to use gentle skincare products recommended by your dermal technician.
WHAT IS IT?
Laser pigment spot treatment is a procedure that uses focused laser beams to target and break down excess pigment in the skin, reducing the appearance of dark spots, freckles, and other pigmentation issues.
FOR WHO?
Laser pigment spot treatment is for individuals with hyperpigmentation, sunspots, or age spots, aiming to even out skin tone and reduce discolouration.
THE RESULTS
Laser pigment spot treatment typically results in reduced visibility of pigmented spots like age spots, sunspots, and freckles, leading to clearer and more even-toned skin.
OUR PROCESS
Laser pigment spot treatment typically involves numbing the area, applying laser energy to target pigment cells, and allowing the skin to heal post-treatment with possible multiple sessions for optimal results.
Almost everyone in Australia has facial pigmentation from sun exposure and although they are not harmful to the skin’s health, they detract from an even complexion and can therefore be cosmetically displeasing.
Spot Pigment Treatment can lighten these accumulations of pigment and improve the skin’s overall colour, texture and luminosity.
The Medlite C6 Spot Laser Treatment is a light-based procedure that targets signs of ageing, including uneven skin tone (pigmentation) such as freckles and age spots anywhere on the body.

Note: Please inform your doctor or nurse if you have ever experienced or are prone to darkening of the skin post trauma.
Spot Pigment Treatment is usually very safe and risks and complications are rare. However, if the skin is incorrectly cared for it can prolong the healing time and possibly lead to infection and scarring.
Hyperpigmentation (darker areas of pigment on the skin associated with trauma) can last from 1-12 months. It can be treated with medicated bleaching creams and we recommend darker skin types prep their skin with a bleaching cream 4weeks prior to treatment. It the skin fails to lighten (some lesions may need further treatment such as cryotherapy) and can be discussed with your doctor.
Most people will notice a visible improvement after the first treatment. Up to 3 treatments may be recommended for skin with more significant skin damage.
We recommend monthly treatments for future maintenance against any pigmentation occurring after the pigment treated now.
For 2+ weeks prior to your treatment we recommend the use of the Ultra Diminishing Complex or Ultra Brightening Serum. The doctor may alternatively recommend a prescription lightening cream.
Most skin will experience mild redness, swelling and sensitivity for 24-48 hours. Some skin may be prone to very mild purpura or bruising visible for 2-3 days. There will also be areas of darkening, which will either flake off or lighten over the first 7 days for the face and 21-28 days for the body.
For 5-7 days post treatment:
Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s, Vitamin A (Retinol), astringents or exfoliating granules
Cool compress or ice as needed
Apply moisturizer as required (skin is best to remain moist during this time)
Do not exfoliate or pick at peeling skin
Do not expose the skin to sun
Apply sunscreen daily
Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, chlorinated and saltwater pools, steam baths and hot showers for 48 hours following your treatment
Avoid waxing, IPL, laser or depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment
Avoid mineral makeup for 12 hours post laser
Avoid applying tanning products for 2 weeks following your treatment
Normal/ Dry Skin Types
For the first 3-5 days post procedure, it is important to avoid the use of exfoliating products and apply broad-spectrum sunblock daily. We recommend the regime depending on your skin type.
These recommended home care products are available for long-term maintenance. Please discuss further with your doctor and/or dermal therapist on which best meet your needs.
