One of the key advantages of the MEDLITE C6 Laser Pigmentation Peel is its precision. This makes it a safe and reliable option for individuals looking to improve the appearance of their skin without the risks associated with harsher treatments.

Our dermal technicians can tailor the treatment to target specific areas or provide overall skin rejuvenation, depending on your goals.

**Results may vary from person to person
Designed to address pigmentation issues effectively while ensuring a comfortable experience.
At the start of your session, a topical anaesthetic is applied, reducing any discomfort you might feel during the procedure.
As the procedure begins, you may experience a prickling sensation, which is followed by mild heat. These sensations are typically well-tolerated by most individuals. After the laser treatment, a cold air or cool compress is applied to soothe the skin for 15-20 minutes, enhancing your comfort post-treatment.
You will experience a warm glow that can be experienced for up to 48 hours following the procedure. This glow signifies the skin’s rejuvenation process and is often accompanied by a noticeable improvement in pigmentation issues.
WHAT IS IT?
The Pigment Laser Peel targets pigment and photo ageing by using a laser to address uneven skin tones and age spots. The treated area is then cooled for recovery.
FOR WHO?
The laser pigment peel is ideal for those seeking to diminish hyperpigmentation, age spots, and uneven skin tone, achieving a clearer and more radiant complexion.
THE RESULTS
A laser pigment peel reduces hyperpigmentation, evens skin tone, and diminishes blemishes, revealing smoother, brighter, and more radiant skin.
OUR PROCESS
A laser pigment peel involves using a Medlite laser on your skin, with eye protection. You’ll feel warmth and light pulsing, lasting about 15 minutes, based on treatment area.
Living in Australia, nearly everyone has some brown spots on their face resulting from sun exposure. While these spots aren’t harmful to your skin’s health they can be cosmetically displeasing as they don’t allow us to achieve a luminous, even complexion. The Pigment Laser Peel offered by Academy Face and Body is an effective procedure designed to lighten pigment accumulations and improve overall skin colour, texture and luminosity.
The Pigment Laser Peel is a light-based procedure that targets signs of photo aging including uneven skin tones like age spots and freckles. During the procedure, a laser goes over the area of concern and is then cooled for 15-20 minutes.
The Medlite C6 Laser Peel can visibly lighten and improve:
Age spots (solar lentignes)
IPL resistant sun damage
Freckles
Mild open pores
Skin texture
Note: The laser peel can be used anywhere on the body, not just the face.
**Results may vary from person to person

Incorrectly cared for healing skin can result in a prolonged healing time, potentially leading to infection and scarring.
Hyper-pigmentation can last up to 12 months and can be treated with a medicated bleaching cream. We recommend people with darker skin types prepare their skin via a bleaching cream for a month prior to treatment.
If you are prone to cold sores in the area that has been treated, it is rare but possible that you could experience a Herpes Simplex breakout.
Up to 3 treatments may be necessary for skin that is significantly photo damaged but most people notice visible improvements after the first treatment.
Best results are achieved when treatments are performed on a monthly basis.
This procedure attracts a low level of discomfort and heat, and a topical anaesthetic is applied half an hour before the treatment begins to mitigate the discomfort you will experience.
During the procedure you will feel a prickling sensation followed by a mild heat. A cold air or cool compress is applied after this for 15-20 minutes and a warm glow could be felt for 48 hours following the laser peel.
