PRP procedures involve the extraction of a patient’s own blood, concentrating the platelets, and re-injecting them under sterile medical conditions. PRP is used in cosmetic medicine for a variety of purposes, including hair and skin treatments.
Suitability, potential risks, and expected outcomes are assessed during a consultation with a qualified clinician. Individual responses to PRP procedures vary, and no specific result can be guaranteed
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy, often referred to as the “vampire facial,” is a popular skin treatment that uses the regenerative potential of your own blood to promote healing, renewal and skin rejuvenation.
By extracting a concentrated dose of platelet-rich plasma and re-injecting it under sterile medical conditions, PRP stimulates the activation of stem cells in the skin, fostering the growth of new tissue, including muscles, nerves, and elastin.
This innovative approach, which has been utilised since the 1970s, offers a versatile solution in cosmetic medicine, addressing a variety of concerns from hair loss to facial rejuvenation, lip regeneration, and neck tightening.
If you are seeking an effective treatment for these issues, PRP therapy could be the ideal choice for revitalising your appearance.

Every patient is different, and suitability for treatment can only be determined after a personalised consultation with your clinician.
First You will be asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to your treatment, during which a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area and your blood is taken by one of the practice staff.
While the numbing cream is on, your blood is processed and the concentrated platelets (PRP) are extracted. The Pure PRP is then injected back into your areas of concern.
The number of PRP sessions varies between individuals. Some people choose a single treatment, while others explore multiple sessions over time.
