Excessive sweating is caused by overactive sweat glands, and affects millions of people around the world. When sweating (or hyperhidrosis) is excessive it can be uncomfortable, stressful, and embarrassing. While stress and high temperatures can increase perspiration, they do not cause hyperhidrosis.

As with any medication or treatment there may be side effects. Because this treatment only requires a small amount of product any side effects are usually only around the area of injection and temporary.
